Materials Red List

Recommended

The Materials Red List is intended to identify and eliminate the worst in class chemicals and materials from the built environment from a human and ecological health standpoint. All of the materials on the red list are commonly found in building materials and at various stages of their products lifecycle can pose serious risks to human health. Alternative (and safer) products are available as substitutes for all of these materials, although a few are more difficult to replace or avoid than others.
